Computer Studio Account
 
The Computer Studio is a design technology facility dedicated for the students of Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture and Virtual Technology & Design.  The Studio is supported through funding provided by the College of Letters Arts & Social Science's professional fee, Virtual Technology & Design class fees and by fees assessed to non-majors taking classes taught in the Computer Studio.  Students eligible to gain access to the Computer Studio are identified below.
 
The Computer Studio utilizes the student's UI account for logon permissions
To logon to a computer in the Computer Studio the student must:
  1. Have an active UI user account
  2. Belong to the group governing the Computer Studio.
  • All user accounts are managed through the UI helpdesk or on-line at: support.uidaho.edu.  Please note: the Helpdesk does not provide group management.
  • Group management is managed here.
    All eligible majors were added to this group at the beginning of August.  You only need to submit a group request if:
    • you became a major later in August
    • you added a class (from the list below) at the beginning of the semester
    • you are experiencing problems with access to the Computer Studio systems.
 
If you are experiencing problems logging on to a computer in the Computer Studio please do the following:
 
 
The following majors are eligible to access the Computer Studio.
 
Major   Standing
Architecture:   Sophomore - Graduate (MArch)
Interior Design:   Freshman - Senior
Landscape Architecture:   Freshman - Senior
Virtual Technology & Design:   Sophomore - Senior
Forest Products   Must be enrolled in Architecture Design Classes.
 
Students (majors & non-majors) enrolled in the following courses are eligible to access the Computer Studio.
