All VTD majors are required to have a laptop computer and the appropriate software for all VTD classes.  Go to the VTD web site at www.class.uidaho.edu/vtd and click on Explore Site and then Computer Policy.  It is highly recommended that you read each of the sections available from this page including: Policy, Student Software Program, Hardware, and Software.

  • Before you can register, a security block must be removed from you name.  To get this block removed, send a simple email to vtd@uidaho.edu indicating that you received the above advising information.

For the email Subject type “VTD: REGISTRATION BLOCK.”

  • To register on the web, go to www.uidaho.edu/registration.  If you need instructions on how to register on the web first click on Registration Information, then click on How to Register by Web.  This information is also available in the printed Time Schedule.  However, remember that current course information for any particular semester is available only on the web; the paper version is not always accurate.
